What’s It About?

Letters from the Laughing Cabin is written by me — Susan “Honey” Williams, a Christian author and writer. Each print edition is written, published, and packaged right here in the Laughing Cabin workshop located in northeast Georgia, USA.

Reader Exclusives

Inside each edition of Letters from the Laughing Cabin, you will learn about free resources — like printables, book recommendations, and DIY video tutorials. You will receive a card inside each month’s letter with instructions and a password to access corresponding resources for that month. The resources will be available to access for up to a year. Each edition has its own access page, and you’ll receive access for one edition at a time. One-time readers can enjoy access for whichever edition they receive. But this is a great reason to become a yearly subscriber. You’ll get access to it all!

Choose and Manage Your Subscription

Manage Your Subscription: Subscription orders are processed through Stripe’s secure payment gateway. You have several payment options available, including credit or debit card. The 3-month, 6-month, and 12-month subscriptions will be billed monthly, starting on the date you subscribed, based on the number of months you selected. You can cancel or manage your subscription by creating a Stripe account or logging into an existing account. Read Stripe’s Privacy Policy here.

Current Month Orders: Select the Current Month option to receive a one-time mailing as follows: If you order between the 1st and 15th of the month, you will receive the current month’s edition. (For example, if you order on September 10th, you will receive the September edition.) Orders placed between the 16th and 31st will receive the next month’s edition. (For example, if you order on September 25th, you will receive the October edition.)

Subscription Shipping Schedule: Each monthly edition will ship during the 1st week of each month. Subscription orders placed between the 1st and 15th of the month will receive the current month’s edition. (For example, if you subscribe on September 10th, you will receive the September edition.) Subscription orders placed between the 16th and 31st of the month will receive the next month’s edition. (For example, if you order on September 25th, you will receive the October edition.)

U.S. Postage Included: Letters from the Laughing Cabin are shipped by USPS First Class Mail to U.S. addresses only. Postage is included in your order. Applicable sales tax will be added to your total at checkout.

Frequently Asked Questions

When does Letters from the Laughing Cabin launch?

The very first edition of Letters from the Laughing Cabin was shipped during the 1st week of September. Subscription orders placed by September 15 will receive the September edition. Each monthly edition thereafter will ship during the first week of each month.

When will I receive my Letter?

Each edition of Letters from the Laughing Cabin is mailed during the first week of each month by USPS First Class postal mail beginning September 2026. The delivery schedule will vary between regions, but you can usually expect your letter to arrive within 5-10 days from the day it is shipped.

Can I get a Sample Issue?

Select the Current Month option to receive a single issue, one-time mailing.

Tell me about the links to access free resources.

The content in Letters from the Laughing Cabin may occasionally include things like craft tutorials. When possible, I will provide a free printable craft pattern or a video tutorial to demonstrate how to make a craft project. Since links are not “clickable” in a print publication, I have provided a resource page on my blog that is exclusive to subscribers. You can go to the blog, enter the password when prompted, and access the printable craft pattern, video tutorials, etc., for that edition.

What is a Welcome Packet?

When you select the 12-Month Subscription option to indicate you are a yearly subscriber, you will automatically receive a complimentary Welcome Packet. Your Welcome Packet will include a personal letter from me plus several extra goodies I’ve personally created just for you. A Welcome Packet is not available for separate purchase and is exclusively for yearly subscribers. The Welcome Packet will ship within 3-5 business days after your subscription begins.

Will back issues be available?

Yes! We will begin making back issues available three months after the first publication of each edition. (For instance, the October 2026 edition will be available for back order in January 2027.) Back issues will be made available on my blog at laughingcabin.com.

Do you ship outside of the U.S.?

At this time, Letters from the Laughing Cabin is not available to addresses outside of the U.S. Please contact me if you live outside of the U.S., and I will work with you on a case-by-case basis. Contact susan@laughingcabin.com

What if I need to cancel my subscription or change my mailing info?

If you used Stripe to create an account, you will be able to manage your subscription through your Stripe account. We do not have access to your Stripe account or information. If you have subscribed through my Etsy shop, please message me on Etsy for help managing your subscription at https://www.etsy.com/shop/laughingcabindesigns

What if my mailing is lost or damaged?

Contact me at susan@laughingcabin.com (or message me on Etsy if you ordered through my Etsy shop) to let me know about the loss or damage of your mailing. I will work with you to make it right.
